Odyse Fables

Odyse comes through with their first single of 2021. It's called "Fables" and it's streaming everywhere meow.

This single is totally introspective with a delicate half time tempo and mellow vibe. We begin with harps and move to a soft bed of synths and rounded bass. I especially love the synths that sound like strings, most likely inspired by the cello. This is the longest track Odyse has produced, by just 18 seconds, but it feels like a privilege to dig all the extra moments in this sound world. It's slick, meditative, and definitely ready to take on a life of its own!

It still reminds me of Grizmatic, Pretty Lights, and Bonobo transported together to the now. It's chill AF. Go listen.
